I love how apothecary jars can serve multiple purposes, which is perfect for a small space. There are so many objects and items that can be stored in glass jars that serve as practical design elements. I'm not a big fan of knick-knacks, but I do think there needs to be mini displays in your apartment to make it homey. I have several apothecary jars in my apartment....the one in the kitchen has dog food, the batroom jars have cottonballs and q-tips and the living room houses mini tree branches. Candy, matches, coins, jewelry and even plants are all items that can be used. Be creative!
