Mixing Metallics

I'm a huge believer that metallics can be neutral colors if used in the correct way.  If you over-do-it, your space can end up looking like the the holidays year round. But, if you use metallics in moderation, the look will seem timeless.

Warm and Cozy White

Since it has warmed up here in Chicago, I opted to do some spring cleaning. The  windows have finally opened and the fresh air is coming in. The leaves and flowers  have started to bud  and I could smell the city breeze...and I loved it.  With all the beauty coming from the outside, I decided an ALL WHITE room would look gorgeous against nature's backdrop. Any room in your home can be white--kitchens will look crisp and clean and bedrooms will feel warm cozy. Enjoy!

Floor To Ceiling Bookshelves

One of my favorite things to do is relax, by reading a great book. I love going to the bookstore or library and explore all of the colorful pages in art books, design books, photography books, and once in a while, an US Weekly.  The number1 accessory I have always wanted in my apartment are floor to ceiling bookshelves.
