SPACE-SAVING HEADBOARDS

Not everyone has room for a sleigh bed or canopy bed with fabulous footboards when you live in a small space. I thought a rod iron canopy bed with white sheers cascading from the canopy was exactly what I wanted.....until the 1980's celing fan blades that my apartment featured kept getting stuck in them.   That is why, my friends, wall mounted headboards exist.  A bed frame with matching footboards and headboards can take up a lot of walking or storage space. Instead, opt for a wall mounted headboard that can be created from a repurposed barn door, an enlarged photograph, custom upholstered panels, or even particle board from Home Depot to create the illusion of a headboard.
